There are two known "good" releases of the 34.005 version of the 1.3 ROM: the Amiga 500/2000 one (CRC-32 C4F0F55F) and the improved Amiga 3000 one (CRC-32 E0F37258).

Here is a list of changes between the two versions, as analyzed by Toni Wilen:

• Max valid chip ram size changed from 512 KB to 2 MB (if invalid at reset, create sysbase from scratch and lose all possible reset-proof programs, like RAD:). This was fixed via SetPatch in the A-500 ROM.
• cmp.l $8000,d0 changed to cmp.l #$8000,d0. Obvious bug fix, originally compared d0 with value located at address $8000, fixed version compares d0 with absolute value $8000.
• Checksum corrected.

While the Amiga 3000 version is considered the best and final version of the 1.3 series, Amiga Forever also includes the original Amiga 500/2000 version for maximum compatibility.
