This column indicates the minimum CPU required to successfully start each Kickstart ROM. Indication of a 68020 being required does not suggest a full 68020 is needed - all variants of the 68020, including the 68EC020, are sufficient, as the requirement lies only in the instruction set available in the CPU. For this reason, Amiga 3000 and 4000 ROM images only require a 68020-class CPU, because the 68030 instruction set is virtually identical to the one in the 68020. 68020+MMU indicates that a MMU is required.
