Guardian 1.2 was a commercial antivirus bootstrap developed by Leonardo Fei and distributed by Transactor (UK) Ltd in Amiga Transactor Volume 1 Issue 3 (Dec 1988). It came in two forms, a program that installs itself in place of the bootstrap module, and a program that installs Guardian 1.2r into the Kickstart disk directly (replacing the Debug() function). The Kickstart sample documented here has been installed into a Kickstart 1.3 (34.005) disk with the default boot from RAM disk (you can also opt to have the default boot from floppy at install time).

This specific Kickstart ROM image containing Guardian 1.2r may be faulty, as LoadWB fails trying to locate workbench.task when booted with Workbench 1.3.
